Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information AI Dropshipping Academy collects when you visit our free course pages, fill out our sign-up form or talk with our team, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

The short version

We collect what you put in our form (first name, email, phone number and where you're at with your store), plus your IP address and basic technical details.
We use it to call, text and email you about the course and to get you set up.
Sign-ups are saved in our team's Slack workspace. Our pages run on Vercel, calls can run through Twilio, and our fonts load from Google Fonts.
We do not sell your personal information. These pages use no cookies, analytics or ad pixels today.
Reply STOP to stop texts. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] to stop calls, or to see, fix or delete your information.

The full policy below is what counts.

1. Who we are

AI Dropshipping Academy is Kuol Deng's program. We run a free AI dropshipping course. The course and its AI tools are free. To use the tools, you pay Base44 directly for your own Base44 plan, and Base44 pays us a commission when someone starts a paid Base44 plan through our link.

This policy covers our course pages (the sign-up page and the page you see after you sign up), our sign-up form, and the calls, texts and emails we send about the course. "We", "us" and "our" mean Deng Consulting LLC, which runs AI Dropshipping Academy. Our contact details are in section 15.

2. What we collect

What you give us on the sign-up form

Your first name.
Your email address.
Your phone number, with the country code you pick.
Your answer to "Where are you at right now?", for example "Never started a store".
A record that you agreed to calls and texts, with the exact consent wording you saw.
The date and time you signed up, and which of our pages you signed up on.

The form also has a hidden spam-check field that people never see. If it is filled in, we treat the sign-up as a bot and do not save it.

What we collect automatically

Your IP address. When you send the form, our server saves your IP address with your sign-up. It also uses it to limit how many times one address can send the form in an hour, which helps stop spam.
Server logs. Our pages and form run on Vercel. Like most websites, Vercel's servers keep standard logs of each request, such as your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, and the date and time.
Font requests. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address and basic details about your browser.

What we store in your browser

After you send the form, our page saves your first name in your browser's session storage, so the next page can greet you by name. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab.

Cookies, analytics and ad pixels

Our course pages do not set cookies, and they do not use analytics tools or advertising pixels (like the Meta Pixel or the TikTok Pixel) today. If that changes, we will update this policy.

When you talk with our team

When a team member calls or texts you, they may add notes to your record, such as when you spoke and what you asked. If you start a Base44 plan, we record the email on your Base44 account, the plan you chose and a screenshot of your Base44 confirmation (never your card details), and we check with Base44 that the signup went through our link. If you call our team phone number and nobody answers, your phone number and the time of the call are saved so we can call you back.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your payment card details. If you start a Base44 plan, you pay Base44 directly. Our form does not ask for sensitive information such as ID numbers, bank details or health information.

3. How we use your information

To contact you about the course by phone, text and email.
To set you up: help you get started on Base44 and get access to the course and the AI tools.
To run our sales process: pass your sign-up to a team member, keep track of calls and follow-ups, and keep notes.
To answer your questions and help you when you get stuck.
To keep a record of your consent and of any request to stop contacting you.
To stop spam and misuse of our form, and to keep our pages working and secure.
To follow the law and protect our rights.

4. Calls and texts

Our form includes this consent:

By tapping Claim My Free Course, you agree that AI Dropshipping Academy can call and text you about the course at the number you gave. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message frequency varies. You can stop at any time:

Texts: reply STOP to any text from us.
Calls: tell the team member who calls you, or email [CONTACT EMAIL].
Emails: reply and ask us to stop, or email [CONTACT EMAIL].

When you opt out, the team member marks you Do not call on our sales dashboard and we stop contacting you that way. We do not record calls placed from our sales dashboard.

We do not share your phone number or your consent to texts with anyone else for their own marketing.

We share your information only with the people and companies that help us run the course, and only so they can do that work for us.

Our team. Team members and contractors who work on sales see your details so they can call you and set you up.
Vercel hosts our pages and our sign-up form, and keeps the server logs described above.
Slack. Sign-ups are saved as messages in our team's Slack workspace, which works as our lead list. Our sales dashboard reads them from there.
Twilio. When our sales dashboard places or receives calls, they run through Twilio, which handles the phone numbers and call details.
Phone and texting services. The calls and texts we send, and the texts you send back, go through the phone and texting service we use, which handles your number and the messages.
Google Fonts loads the fonts on our pages and receives your IP address when it does.

Base44

Base44 only comes in if you choose to sign up for Base44 through our link. When you do, Base44 collects the details you give it, including your payment details, under Base44's own privacy policy and terms, not this one. Base44 may let us know that someone signed up through our link so it can pay us our commission.

Other times we may share

When the law requires it, such as a court order, or to protect the rights and safety of people, including our own.
If AI Dropshipping Academy is reorganized, merged or sold, your information may move to the new owner, who must keep using it under this policy.
When you ask us to, or give us permission.

6. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for targeted advertising.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to contact you about the course, run our sales process and keep the records we need, such as your consent and any opt-out. When you ask us to delete your information, we delete it from our Slack lead records (your sign-up and any record of you starting a Base44 plan) and remove it from our team's sales dashboards. We may keep a short note that you opted out, so we don't contact you again.

Server logs are kept by Vercel for a limited time under its own settings.

8. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Tell you what information we have about you and give you a copy.
Correct information that is wrong.
Delete your information.
Stop calling, texting or emailing you.

To ask, email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the email you signed up with, or include the phone number you gave us. We may ask you to confirm a few details so we know the request is really from you. We will not treat you differently for asking.

9. California and other state privacy rights

Some US states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Oregon, give residents extra privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, where it comes from, why we use it and who we share it with, and get a copy.
Correct information that is wrong.
Delete your information.
Opt out of the sale of your personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We do neither.
Not be treated differently for using these rights.
Appeal if we turn down your request, by replying to our answer.

Someone you authorize can also make a request for you, with your signed permission. We answer requests within the time your state's law requires.

In the legal categories, we collect identifiers (your name, email, phone number and IP address), internet or network activity (the server logs described above), and information about your experience with online stores (your answer on our form). We collect them from you and from your browser, use them for the purposes in section 3, and disclose them only as described in section 5. We do not collect sensitive personal information as these laws define it.

10. If you live outside the US

Our form accepts phone numbers from outside the US, such as the UK and Australia. If you live outside the US, you may have similar rights under your local law, and you can use the same email to ask. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Our service providers may store and process your information in the United States and other countries.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Our pages and form use HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted on the way to us. Sign-ups are kept in a Slack workspace that only invited team members can open (team members' sales dashboards also keep a working copy of leads on their own logged-in devices), and our sales dashboard needs each team member to log in. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise your information will never be accessed without permission.

12. Children and teens

Our course is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child under 13 gave us information, email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will delete it.

If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use our course or to start any paid plan, including a Base44 plan.

13. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other sites, such as Base44 or Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy doesn't cover them.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we change how we use your information in a big way, we'll make that clear on this page.
